A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Clear from the start.
How many songs will we finish each month?
There’s no monthly song cap or guaranteed completion count. We work on one track at a time, completing mixing and mastering before starting the next. Timing depends on the song, your recordings, feedback and revisions.
Do I keep my rights and royalties?
Yes. You keep your songwriting rights, royalties and master ownership. I take no songwriting, publishing, producer or master royalty share. Rights in my original contributions transfer to you when the production fee covering that work is paid. Your existing agreements with co-writers and other rights holders remain your responsibility.
When do I receive the stems?
During production, you receive stereo two-track updates for review. Stems are delivered with the completed and paid final mix and master, not early for mixing elsewhere. If you cancel while a song is unfinished, you keep the two-tracks already delivered. I retain the working files for 90 days after cancellation; your workspace stays available through the paid period. Ownership and file delivery are separate parts of our agreement.
What should my demo sound like?
A rough singing demo with guitar or piano is welcome. Your song can still be in progress, and the recording doesn’t need to be polished. The personal review focuses on the song and whether our musical direction feels like a good match. For the application, an unfinished song or a social media link is fine. Share a link that opens without an access request. The service develops the production of songs you’ve already written.
What happens after I apply?
Dilan will review your application and the song or social media link you share for musical fit. Your recording setup, release goals and timing help us see whether the partnership makes sense. If your application is approved after that review, you’ll receive an invitation to a short fit call to explore working together. A call is offered only after the personal application review.
How does payment work?
The first $950 USD payment is due after acceptance and the agreement, before production starts. It establishes your monthly billing anniversary. The subscription renews automatically at $950 each month, paid in advance, until canceled. Applying does not reserve a spot, and no payment is collected with an application.
What are the cancellation terms?
Cancel by emailing dilan@halcyonmediagroup.com before the start of your next renewal date in Eastern Time. No call or approval is required. Service and workspace access continue through the paid period. There is no ordinary prorated refund for voluntary mid-month cancellation; required legal refunds and the agreement’s service-failure remedies still apply. Cancellation stops future renewals.
